We offer an excellent education of the highest standards as classical percussion player with emphasis on well rooted basics and possibilities for each student to follow his/her path in the many possible ways a modern percussionist can develop.
You will take part of an education that takes an active conversation with the different traditions and at the same time develops your creative mind and help you to define yourself as an artist. The head of the percussion department - Henrik Knarborg Larsen - is working with research projects to further develop our teaching through the didactics of for example martial arts and brain research and is a sought after teacher at international masterclasses.

Bachelor program:
Creating a strong connection to all our instruments and starting to define your artistic ideas. Combination of basic subjects and electives. Flexible teaching schedule gives the option for more solo lessons each week.
Master program:
Main subjects: Percussion and Entrepreneurship.
Through elective subjects your studies can be further specialized: contemporary music, electronic music, orchestral percussion, songwriting, conducting, pedagogy etc.
Soloist Diploma:
You will be part of an openminded community of composers and performers. Studies as focused on developing your qualities as a soloist or chamber musician on the highest level. At the audition you can choose a special focus: Marimba/Mallets , Theatrical Percussion, or the more open "General"
